The categories for which we provide services are:
Learner Focussed Provision.
This provision will include all learning programmes where employer involvement is not a requirement for the programme. That is where the learner is not normally required to be employed to participate.
Examples of eligible programmes are:
- Foundation Learning Tier
- Specialist provision to engage young people who are currently not in education, employment or training
- Provision for individuals to prepare them for sustainable employment
- Skills for Jobs
- Basic Skills and Employability provision for Jobcentre Plus customers
- A range of enhanced skills and employment activities
- Specific areas of provision identified in Regional LSC Commissioning Statements.
- Employer Focussed Provision, including
- Apprenticeships, Work Based Learning [16-24 year olds]
- Apprenticeships for Adults, Work Based Learning [25+]
- Train to Gain training provision (including Skills for Life, level 2 and level 3 learning).
- Specific areas of provision identified in Commissioning Statements.
Current Projects include:
LDA/ESF step up Project: In partnership with WOI in Barking and Dagenham to deliver ESOL Skills to 66 Learners and progression to further learning
LDA funded partnership with Inbiz: To offer information, help / support for 180 disadvantaged, unemployed / inactive individuals, to consider business / social enterprise start-up as routes out of worklessness and ways to acquire foundation, vocational and personal skills, attitudes and experience to grow
LSC/ESF funded Train to gain: Project partnership with Redbridge institute of Adult Education to deliver ESF Train to Gain training to 63 beneficiaries in London on NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, Business Administration, Customer Care, ESOL and Basic Skills
